Summary: Say what?
Comment: I'm not entirely certain if this was a good movie or not. I couldn't really hear it and it was subtitled in Russian only. The dubbed soundtrack was just atrocious. It sounded as though the audio track was out of phase or something. It would graduate from a dull roar to an inaudible whisper in about 5 second sweeps. Very maddening to listen to. And it wasn't even that erotic, really. I much prefer Tinto Brass' output. Those are some good looking and decent sounding dvds.

Comment: Don't be fooled by the description of this DVD. It is absolutely 180 degrees from what is given. The "Maneater" title is totally misleading, unless you get a thrill out of watching a woman suck on a man's index finger. Yes...that's what I said....index finger. Quite bluntly, don't waste your money. Frontal nudity? yes, but so dark there's really nothing to see. The only clear shots are of the woman's face panting loudly, and, as Porky Pig used to say... "that's all folks!"

Comment: Wont go into the plot here and ruin it for you, so I'll comment on the sex. There are a few graphic scenes in here, close ups, and full-frontal (both male and female). Its not 3x but its more than an Nc-17.

Summary: Deserves watching
Comment: First time I watched it on this DVD edition and I was happy with my purchase. The storyline/theme does not go that deep into a woman's life, it simply shows what a woman may want from life and how she do this. Beautiful places, nice scenes, clean picture work for this edition.
Although there are disadvantages too. All through the movie we feel the sound is out of synchronization with the picture (minus one star for this reason only). Plus the music chosen for the menues is depressing, although the plot is not so.
As for the synchronization - later I ordered the italian original (Millenium Storm edition), and was very disappointed with it. That version was cut (7 minutes or so), it lacked both intro and outro, and the colour gamma of the striptease dance (the highlight of the movie!) was also changed. Neither the mentioned bonuses were there! There is another italian edition (CVC) which always gives a decent result, but this is another story.
Here we came to another advantage of this russian edition. It is complete! And, finally, in English! So, if one is a fan of Loredana Cannata, erotic movies (especially italian), nice romantic stories, and a portion of (beautiful) hardcore moments - buy this edition.

Summary: This the plot for the movie so that you know what it is about...
Comment: A Sicilian woman Guila (Loredana Cannata)tries to have avidly as many sexual adventures as possible. She uses different identities and personality but she couldn't stop collecting adventures. One day she meets Valerio, a young student that falls in love with her after giving him an unforgettable night full of passion. The next morning she is nowhere to be found. Valerio is possessed to find this woman who knows next to nothing about. In the process though he begins finding out details about her sordid sexual past and her undying need to quench her sexual thirst with new men. Directed by Aurelio Grimaldi (THE BUTCHER).
-The sex scenes are definite worth viewing,trust me it's called "man-eater" for a reason!!!
