Our Favorite Lobster Tails Author:
Lobster tails are delicious. There are a lot of different ways to prepare them. I have tried many of them and have many in my repertoire. My favorite recipe is really easy and delicious and my husband’s favorite recipe is more complicated and also delicious. One of my favorite recipes is Baked Lobster Tails. This is a surprisingly simple recipe that has a real wow factor. All you have to do is split the tails, season them with salt, pepper and parsley and then put olive oil and lemon on them. The next part of the Baked Lobster Tails recipe is the baking. I pour water into a shallow baking dish, set the lobster tails in the pan and bake at 375 for 25 minutes. My husband favorite recipe for lobster tails is quite different than mine. His favorite recipe is Deviled Lobster Tails. It really is quite delicious, but it is a lot more complicated than the recipe for Baked Lobster Tails. The lobster tails for Deviled Lobster tails is boiled until cooked, about twenty minutes, with peppercorns, a lemon, an onion, some cloves, cayenne pepper and salt. This is a really tasty boil for the lobster tail. After the lobster tails are cooked, the holy trinity of Cajun cooking, onion, green pepper and celery need to be sauteed with some parsley in butter. After the onions are translucent, the sauteed vegetables are added to the bowl of meat from the lobster tails. At this point, some finely minced hard boiled egg is added to the bowl with a raw egg, bread crumbs and Tabasco sauce. The mixture needs to stick together, if you need to add milk to accomplish this, add it one tablespoon at a time. Pile the mixture high in the reserved shells from the lobster tails and top with more bread crumbs. These wonderful lobster tails then bake for twenty minutes. This recipe should be served hot out of the oven with a portion of melted butter for each person to dip every bite before eating.
